            Conditions Of Entry And Competition

Entry

Eligibility:  The event is open to any golfer who holds a current  Australia Handicap, is  55 years of age and over and who, on date of play, has been a financial member of a club affiliated with the MPDWG for three (3) months.

 

No handicap limit

 

Format

18 hole stroke event.

$ 20

Conditions

MPDWG 2009 STANDARD CONDITIONS OF PLAY APPLY.

 

 

Entry into Veterans Championships accepted up to midnight on closing date.

 

LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

 

 

Order of play: Event to be seeded in handicap order – according to handicaps at date of entry.

 

Substitutes will not be accepted.

 

Carts permitted.   Host clubs may not permit the use of carts due to local conditions. It is the player’s responsibility to finalise golf cart hire/usage at the relevant club.

 

Draw will be available at  www.mpdwg.asn.au  within 10 days of entries closing.  

 

In the event of a tie in the Scratch Championship there will be a sudden death play-off.  Holes to be played as determined by Match Committee.

 

In the event of a tie in the Handicap event, there will be a count back, as per GA Rules and Regulations.

 

Players are not permitted to win both scratch and handicap trophies. First place trophies take precedence over second place trophies, and scratch trophies over handicap trophies.
