PENNANT REVIEW 2010

The District Committee is making plans for the 2011 Pennant Season.  Clubs responses to the Survey Form and the discussion at the Pennant Captains Meeting have been analysed and a summary is available - click the PENNANT REVIEW link

HANDICAP MATCHPLAY 2010

ROUND 2

See Results and Leaderboards, and PHOTOS.

Host Clubs were The National and The Dunes.

ROUND 1

Congratulations to all the Handicap Matchplay teams who played so valiantly in rather difficult conditions because of the winter rains ( we all say we need the rain don't we?)

Host Clubs were Carrington Park and Berwick Montuna, and we thank them for their hospitality.

See Results and Leaderboards above.

The competition known in 2009 as Interclub has been re-named HANDICAP MATCHPLAY in 2010. The clubs have been divided into two groups, GREEN and RED, on the basis of their expressed wishes to play on certain days. Play begins on either the 5th or the 6th of August

The DRAW is now available.

PENNANT ROUND 7 - FINAL

The final round in Division 1 was played at Sorrento on April 29th, and The National Blue was successful in retaining the cup they won last year with Sorrento and Rosebud finishing second and third.    Sorrento with a win over the previously undefeated Dunes team

won Division 2, with The Dunes second and Rosebud third.   In Division 3 Rosebud's team took the flag, and second and third places went to Berwick Montuna and Portsea..

Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to all players, caddies and host clubs for your efforts during the season.

See RESULTS and LEADERBOARDS above.

PENNANT REVIEW 2010

Before everyone forgets Pennant for the year, the District Committee wants clubs to consider all aspects of this year's competition.  A questionnaire (click link) has been sent to all Captains, and replies are requested promptly.  Team members are invited to share their ideas on anything to do with pennant with their captains.  All replies will be considered and discussed on

MONDAY MAY 24TH at 9.30 at MORNINGTON GOLF CLUB

at the
